Dr. Jennifer Witkowski

Optometrist

Dr. Witkowski is a native of Southern California, and her journey as an optometrist is driven by a profound commitment to enhancing her patients' lives through improved vision. Her passion for helping individuals achieve their best vision is the core motivation behind her career choice.

She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psycho-Biology at the University of California, Riverside. In 1993, she earned her doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Witkowski is a board-certified optometrist with substantial experience in co-managing patients undergoing cataract and laser refractive surgeries. She takes great pride in forging close relationships with each patient, comprehending their specific needs, and providing a comprehensive array of optometric services. Her services encompass primary eye care examinations, the fitting of both regular and specialized contact lenses, and the management of various eye diseases.

Having previously run a private practice in San Diego, Dr. Witkowski relocated and established Eyecare Optometry in 2017, which is now situated inside LensCrafters in Redondo Beach.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Witkowski finds joy in playing tennis, running, reading, cooking, and cherishing quality moments with her husband and three active children. Her dedication to humanitarian work shines through her participation in mission trips to Costa Rica and the Philippines, where she conducts eye examinations and distributes eyeglasses to those in need. Dr. Witkowski intends to further nurture this passion by participating in future mission trips organized by LensCrafters OneSight. Dr. Witkowski's ultimate goal is to create a meaningful impact in the lives of her patients by inspiring their overall vision and helping them live their best lives through improved eyesight.

Dr. Dana Nguyen

Optometrist

Dr. Dana Nguyen had a deep-rooted love for biology from a young age, but her true calling in healthcare emerged during her undergraduate years. Fueled by her involvement in vision screenings and shadowing experiences at the Stein Eye Institute, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology at UCLA and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.

Dr. Nguyen has had the privilege of serving a diverse patient base, spanning various age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds. While her optometric training primarily emphasized ocular disease management with therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, she has also acquired invaluable expertise in contact lens fittings, myopia control, low vision, and vision therapy. Her patient-centric approach places a high priority on addressing individual concerns, ensuring every patient feels heard.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Nguyen finds joy in reading and indulging her sweet tooth with a regular cup of milk tea featuring boba. As an avid animal lover, she dreams of one day welcoming cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs into her home as beloved pets.
